What is Holistic Healing?
From a holistic perspective, health is not the absence of illness but the presence of harmony between body, mind, spirit and the life that surrounds us. A holistic worldview acknowledges that nothing exists in isolation, that every part is woven into the whole. Across cultures and centuries, the same recognition is expressed: that to heal is to reconnect – to ourselves, to one another and to the living world.
Holistic Healing also means to take one's life into one's own hands. It encourages us to reclaim our own health and well-being through the choices we make each day, the food we grow and eat, the way we move, act and relate to the world. It permeates every aspect of life.

Holistic Healing in Divinya

Participating in the Holistic Healer program means living and learning alongside the yogic community of Divinya, for a duration of one month up to one year, exploring holistic living – a new reference of ecological and spiritual living in all aspects of life.
The Holistic Healer is a residential program that integrates holistic healing practices, inner transformation and community living.
Life in the
Divinya Community
Life here is not divided into "spiritual practice" and "everyday life." Spirituality is lived in each moment of daily life. Every moment gifts us with the opportunity to be present, to come closer to oneself, and to grow, supported by the collective energy field in Divinya.
Participants take part in the daily rhythm which is tuned to nature, its seasons and cycles, and the cosmic order of life. It is a monastic way of living, designed to support one's journey of inner growth and transformation. The days are lived in communion – from collective morning meditation and yoga practice, study circles, to shared meals and collective seva (selfless service) in the practical projects. Evenings are spent together in singing gatherings, silent times for contemplation, inspirational movies or direct Teachings with Guruji Sri Vast.
Study circles on transformation explore subjects such as Eco-Spirituality, Transformative Cosmology and Consciousness Studies.

Fields of Study
Throughout the year, the program aims to provide knowledge and hands-on experience in the fields of:
Hatha Yoga Teacher Training
You will learn the deeper dimensions of the four paths of Yoga — Raja, Karma, Jnana and Bhakti Yoga — and the holistic perspective of a Yogic life, in theory and practice. Learning Yoga in a monastic environment offers a living experience of a Yogic way of life.
Inner Yoga Teacher Training
Inner Yoga, conceived by Guruji Sri Vast, is a technique that reveals the natural state of being. It is a unique set of nature-based exercises and spiritual practices that work on the subtle layers of the body – including the chakras, the elements, and cosmic attunement. The practices consist of 'asanas of nature', breathing exercises and healing techniques, liberating body, mind and senses from imprints, and igniting the body's own natural self-healing intelligence.
Ayurveda
Get an introduction into Ayurveda – one of the world's oldest systems of natural medicine – understands health as a state of balance between body, mind, nature and cosmos. Learning about the philosophy and practical treatments of Ayurveda will serve your own natural wellbeing and equip you with the skills to support others as a consultant or therapist. Topics in this area can include nutrition, daily routines, the medicinal use of certain herbs and foods, natural cleansing procedures, and Ayurvedic therapies and healing techniques.
Herbalism, Herbal Gardening & Preparation of Herbal Remedies
During your stay there are opportunities to enter the world of herbal medicine – learning to identify, grow, harvest and prepare medicinal herbs from Divinya's own gardens. From seed to remedy, you will learn to craft your own herbal preparations: tinctures, oils, creams, soaps, and body care products.
Ecological Cultivation
During your stay there are opportunities to enter the world of herbal medicine – learning to identify, grow, harvest and prepare medicinal herbs from Divinya's own gardens. From seed to remedy, you will learn to craft your own herbal preparations: tinctures, oils, creams, soaps, and body care products.
Vegetarian-Vegan Cooking
During your stay, you have the opportunity to learn the art of vegetarian-vegan cooking and baking – simple, wholesome meals, often prepared with fresh ingredients from our own fields and gardens, in tune with the seasons and their natural cycles. In Divinya cooking is approached as a daily practice of expressing one's love and care: a way to honor the body, support its balance, and recognize the quiet healing power held within food itself.
Eco-Construction
How do we build a world worth living in – literally? During your stay in Divinya you have the opportunity to engage hands-on with ecological building methods and sustainable technologies. Sustainability is understood in a holistic way. To create a more sustainable world outside, we first learn to become more sustainable within – in our desires, our relations and our way of living.
By the end of this program, you will take with you much more than knowledge – you will carry a lived, transformative experience of holistic healing, in your own body, for your own well-being and for serving the well-being of others.
Learning from an Enlightened Master

The Divinya community is a Sangha and part of the Vastian Humonastic Order, which is inspired by the Teachings of the enlightened Master Guruji Sri Vast, and dedicated to bringing the Teachings into daily life.
Guruji's teachings on healing point to a deeper root: the alienation of the human body from nature. He says true healing begins with 'naturalization' – the return of the body to direct contact with earth, water, wind, and the cosmic rhythms, together with rediscovering one's natural state as a cosmic, divine being. For participants walking the path of becoming a Holistic Healer, the opportunity to attend regular Teachings with Guruji, and to bring forth personal questions arising from this journey, is an invaluable gift. Through His graceful presence, with humor and laughter, Guruji brings guidance and inspiration to enrich one's spiritual path.
